I bought the Volt. I've had it for three weeks. Same travel as the Yukon. So far I have traveled 1600 miles, put zero gas in the tank and I still have 60 tank miles to go. It turns out that I have the near perfect commute for the Volt. I charge at home with solar and charge at work on their chargers, also solar powered, for free. So, my fuel bill this month has so far been $0. That will change this weekend when I expect that I will finally have to fill the tank, for $40. I keep meaning to write a blog post with my own Volt TCO analysis, but haven't gotten around to it yet :-/ My numbers are closer to Volt average (as reported by voltstats.net) than yours, but you are spot on, and anybody who believes that the Volt fails to live up to its billing is deluding themself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
